Rules & Regulations for Library Users
- Bonafide students, faculty members, administrators, and staff members of the Colegio can automatically access any library material. These users should present their valid Colegio ID for the current semester.
Letran Alumni should secure alumni card or letter from the Alumni office before using any library resources.
- Off-campus researchers should present a valid ID and a referral letter from their Chief Librarian. They are allowed to use the library for a twenty pesos (P20.00) referral fee.
- Reference Books, Theses, Dissertations, and periodicals must be read within the library.
- A fine of ten pesos (P10.00) per day will be imposed on borrowers for overdue books and five pesos (P5.00) per hour for library materials issued by the hour.
- Lost Book(s) must be reported immediately to the librarian in charge. It must be replaced and the account should be settled if necessary.
- A week before the final exam, all library materials borrowed must be returned. Reading during such time shall only be restricted inside the library.
- No delinquent borrower is allowed to use the library and its resources unless he / she has settled all his / her library accounts.
- Patrons will be held responsible for the library materials the he / she borrowed.
- Books are to be used properly. Leaning and writing on them are to be avoided. Mutilation of any library property is strictly prohibited. Anyone found guilty of such act will be subjected to disciplinary action.
- Courtesy must be practiced in the library specially when borrowing or returning books or other library materials.
- Staying or loitering around library corridors, talking aloud, smoking, eating, sleeping, and littering are strictly prohibited. Silence must be observed at all times.
- The General Rules of Discipline of the Colegio are to be observed in the library.
